van jones and acorn organizing counter-demonstration on 9/12?

i received some news that acorn, with van jones directing the whole activity, is organizing a massive counter-rally against the 9/12 demonstrations in washington, dc.

they are passing out info through public schools and through liberal leftist advocacy groups mobilizing a huge contingent that energized obama's campaign rallies.

this is going to be a ****storm waiting to happen...

Though wouldn't it artificially make it look like more people showed up for the rally? When you look at the pictures and videos, even though they are opposed to the rally, won't it make it look more valid?

I've been monitoring several liberal leftist blogs like du, kos, moveon, etc. and i have seen detailed posts detailing info on how to participate in a rally "against racism, intolerance, and a rally to promote healthcare for everyone".

sorry can't do search now as I'm only on my phone. I've been trying to look for the link. I wouldve posted that about a week ago but I'm in and out of the house. just sending this message out as a heads up and be on guard and be careful because the potential for such a ****storm is big if it does happen.

as mentioned in other post, saw it in several liberal leftist blogs weeks ago promoting a rally for healthcare for everyone and rally against racism and intolerance. I wouldve posted it but I would be violating TOS of diverting traffic to those sites. can't do a search now because I'm only on my phone. this just a heads up to prepare 912 participants for any eventuality.

Given that DC is hardly a haven of conservatives, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see some counter demonstration.

My wife and I will be there, driving up from South Carolina next Wednesday.

We'll have both still cameras and a video camera, and assorted lenses.

My husband and I are driving down from Albany with a friend of ours and plan to be at Freedom Plaza by 8 or 9am. We belong to the local 912 group but haven't met any of them yet. It would be great if we (members of this forum) could meet up somewhere! Currently we are just planning to meet up and follow the crowd.
