I think it disappeared because you were encouraging everybody to go watch Glenn Beck when Sean Hannity programming was on, and you did that on a Sean Hannity forum.

I found a record of the thread in my History Folder.
I clicked on that and got this message:
"Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator."

Why was my thread deleted?

It was removed by Lee because Sean's show was still on the air and you were directing people to tune in Glenn rather than listen to Sean.

That is a big no-no around here. :think:

That is FALSE information. At no time did I encourage anyone to go watch Glenn Beck.

Are you serious?? Glenn's show was over, or almost over, when I made the thread. And Glenn's show was a TV show, not a radio show. Seans TV show was just now on, it was over about 15 minutes ago.

If you are correct, I seriously need SOMEONE to explain this to me.

The last posts in that thread, while I was here anyway, was about 6:30pm CDT, 7:30 EDT, or 2 and a half hours after Sean's show had ended.

None of this makes any sense to me.

Sean's radio show airs 3-6pm EST
and "Hannity" airs at 9 PM to 10PM EST

the mods don't allow promotion of other networks, during those slots.
asking folks "are you watching Beck" during those times is promoting another network while Sean is on the air. This site is for building up Sean-- despite Beck being a friend of Sean.

I was told by the members here that the reason my thread was deleted was because of the TIMING of the thread, that I made the thread while Sean's show was still airing.

And I am concerned that you feel the need to be rude to me.

Lee isn't being rude.
His job is to enforce the rules.

We can't promote Sean's competition.
I have had threads nuked before, for the same reason--
and it makes sense. This site is to promote Sean.

I can imagine you can talk about Glenn Beck all you want
as long as you don't promote his TV show. [it's in direct competition to Sean on the radio]

I believe Glenn Beck often does u-tubes...
you might be allowed to link to that, but you might want to check first.

You have not been disrespected nor treated rudely. You have, on the other hand, shown disrespect for Sean and these boards in promoting a show in direct competition to Sean's.

Tell me, when is the last time you were in WAL-MART and a Blue Light Special for K-Mart was announced?

When is the last time you were in a Ford dealership and a salesman walked up and told you about some great deals going on down the street at the Chevy dealership?

Do you kind of get the idea?

I'm sure you're welcome, but, as the Mods have explained, encouraging in any way the consumption of other media, be it radio, TV, live Internet, or other, when those media venues are competing with Sean in real time, and you suggest paying attention to them (as opposed to Sean), you are crossing a thick, bold, bright line. It could be said a bit more simply, but I hope you get the idea.

Sean is on live 3-6 PM Eastern.

That's just when your radio station airs the show.

The show is live from 3 pm EST-6 pm EST.

Here, it's aired at 2 pm CST-5 pm CST...so we actually here it live.

A lot of stations do this. Just like in some places Neal Boortz's show is 4 hours, but here it's only 3...they cut off the last hour so we can get all of Hannity's show.

On the left coast, Beck is on in the morning and Hannity is on in the afternoon. Seems OK to me.... :eh:

Glenn Beck: 9 - noon ET, Monday - Friday.

Sean Hannity: 3 - 6PM, Monday - Friday.

I like the left coast time difference for Sean, mid afternoon...
