What kinda coward sends his kids to school wearing something like that in order to make a statement? In my opinion, if your going to say something like that, at least have the guts to back it up yourself, don't do it by proxy.

Watch the video interview, too.

Wayne Sapp's daughter, Emily Sapp, 15, was the student sent home from Gainesville High on Tuesday. Both Faith and Emily Sapp said it was their decision, not that of their parents, to wear the shirts to school in order to promote their Christian beliefs.

And you believe both of them (especially the 10 year old) fully understood the ramifications of wearing the shirt that their father printed for them? They were pawns used to give this guy and his church attention.

Im merely quoting information from your source that doesnt support your claim. If they didnt understand the ramifications before Im sure they do now.

If the government is going to force children to be schooled, they should be able to wear whatever they'd like.

They aren't forcing them, they could go to a private school or be home schooled.

No, you go to juvenile hall. They tried to do that to me when I missed school for being sick.

Think about that statement. In fact, the FEDERAL government DOES force education on people. Even private schools and home schoolers MUST MEET or exceed certain MINIMUM standards. See what happens to a home schooler or private school that fails to meet those minimum standards. It is probably going to be extremely ugly. It appears in my somewhat less than humble opinion that the only educational entity that is exempt from those statutes is the public education system itself. And that is probably because the federal government FEARS the exposure of the fact that it is incompetent and corrupt. DO NOT believe that I am in any way shape or form against the best education possible, I am all for a great education. I am against the federal government setting the standards. That should be the right and responsibility of the individual state governments.

So paying the ultimate disrespect to another religion is now considered support for your own religion. Great logic. I am with the school on this one.

That is not even close to as offensive as these were.

Besides, I am sure that if it did offend enough people, they would ban them.

While I think the school was correct in doing what they did, you are wrong. A Che shirt is far more disturbing, much like wearing a Hitler shirt, you are showing that aprove of wholesale muder of millions. If you do not find that offensive, then you truely are in need of mental health treatment.
