Mitch McConnell and 22 other GOP Senators are having a fund raiser for Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson to replace retiring US Senator Bunning. This is a $500 a plate fuction and you may think, "so what" and that's fine, if you want to elect a former BILL CLINTON DELEGATE as the Republican U.S. Senator from Kentucky!

Trey "turncoat" Grayson is a liberal from what I've heard and read, he was at least liberal enough 15 years ago to be a Clinton supporter.

More of the same it looks like in 2010.

I'm shocked!

not........

The GOP had better wake the hell up. Every conservative I converse with here and other places isn't going to stand for this.

Grayson has generally been considered the favorite in the race and has been gearing up to run for some time with the quiet support of some influential Republicans.

Paul, on the other hand, has attacked both Republicans and Democrats, saying that both are guilty of hypocrisy. He also criticized last fall's bank bailout bill, which was championed by Democrats and Republicans alike — including McConnell.:naughty: YEAH,GO AHEAD AND BACK A SUPPORTER OF BAILOUTS!

Their talk is almost as cheap as their actions, hell, at least they used to not be so brazen about how liberal they were.

Being a former democrat doesn't automatically make you a liberal. Voting record, words and actions enable us to determine if a person is a liberal. Based on your comments about Grayson's support of the bailout graft, it sounds like he is a liberal or a fool. When McConnell and 22 other Senators support a liberal, they are showing that they are liberal.

All the liberals from any party need to be voted out.

I have already expressed my shame of Lamar the liberal Republican Senator from TN. He said that his responsibility, as a Senator, was to rubber stramp OBAMA's activists court appointments.

Absolutely correct, his embracement of bailouts was the tell tell sign, him being a former Clinton Delegate was only the red flag that he's a liberal.

The sad thing is, folks will vote for him regardless of his liberal positions. I mean, hell, just look at McCain. He garnered nearly half of the popular vote in 2008. :wall:
