In the murder of Jasmine Fiore, the killer removed her teeth and fingers before disposing of the body.
If I just heard correctly, they identified the body by the serial numbers on her breast implants.
It's always a sad thing to hear about an untimely death, but I thought that was an interesting means of identification.

Anything implanted in the body by a medical procedure has a serial number that can be traced back to the doctor who implanted it and the manufacturer who made it. That is to make it easy on the lawyers sue for those that are defective. ;) It also is useful to identiy bodies that otherwise could not be identified.

Pretty much any device that is implanted into the body has a unique identifier that allows it to be traced back to the doctor, manufacturer, patient, etc.
Apparently this guy is not only murderous scum, but also rather stupid.

The whole being a fugitive after being all over national TV shows wasn't exactly a brilliant move either.
If he'd have just disappeared to Canada in the first place without the whole murder thing the plan to get away from the ex-wife would have been just as effective.

Friend of mine had a body show up in the ditch across from his house about 6-7 years ago, no head, no hands. They ended up identifying the guy from the serial number from a plate or something he had in his back. Some dude from TX ended up dead all the way up here in ohio.
