Here's an interesting article. I'm interested in hearing peoples takes on it.

Here's what's going on, recently dogs have been trained to act as service dogs for autistic students. The parents are claiming the dogs are essential to their students being able to get through the school day, and must be allowed in school. Some schools are saying that the dogs are comfort animals, and not absolutly essential, and as they would be a distraction to other students, they would not be allowed. Also, you have some students allergic or scared of dogs.
