It doesn't matter. Homeland Security will just take over and it will cost even more.

As a corollary, if we get rid of the DEA illegal drugs will become less expensive.
If we get rid of Congress legal (Rx) drugs will become less expensive.

Yes and no.

The DEA needs to only have power over legitimate commerce among the several States etceteras ... and not non-commerce or intrastate commerce.

The War on Drugs will work. I just know it. We just need another 50 years or so and a couple more hundred billion. If prohibition taught us anything about addictive substances, making them illegal is the one way to stop people from doing them.

Oh peanut butter, I forgot - without taxpayer-funded "regulatory" organizations corporate accountability would cease to exist as well. These organizations largely serve the oligarchy/plutocracy and not the citizen.
