Who's Next is an essential in the rock collection. The long-playing album as an art form may be dead for the moment, but this album is one worth purchasing. Not overly long, and there's not a bad song on it.
I say this despite it having an unfortunate album cover. Why they chose a pee break for the cover photo, I'll never figure out.

I would have to say A Quick One (aka Happy Jack) is probably the be-all end all of all Who albums. What fan can resist such classics as Boris The Spider, Bucket T, their cover of Barbara Ann, Happy Jack and of course my all-time favorite - the Title Track (actually titled A Quick One [While He's Away])?

The Live at Leeds and Kids Are Alright soundtrack are my favorite CD's.
Baba O' Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again off the Kids Are Alright CD are my favorite songs. The studio versions don't sound all that great to me.

Who .... Gone but not forgotten Uh stewie, Pete and Roger still tour together as the Who and even recorded some new material. They're not gone yet.
Wish I could say the Rolling Stones were gone, though. Classic case of Dead Men Walking on stage.

I got a 3 DVD WHO collection a couple of Christmas' ago. Had them playing Tommy live on stage with guest performers - Phil Collins was Wicked Uncle Albert. Patti LaBelle the Gypsy Queen, also Elton John, Billy Idol (cousin Ernie) and Steve Winwood.
A lot of fun!

I went to see The Stones in Manchester in 1990 and I thought they were past it then......
And yet nearly 20 years later they're still touring..............
Give it a rest guys.....

I love a lot of their stuff — except "Baba O'Reilly."
Here's a 2000 live version of "5:15" from Royal Albert Hall.
