I have just returned from Atlanta back to the sunny climes of the Grand Britannia.

I was in a bar tonight, sat at the drinks counter. I tried to order a drink at 11.01 pm and was told time was up. Now, I protested, even ordered the idiot behind the bar a tip if he was to pour the drinks. Alas no. I was told time was up.

The point is this. IN the US, the customer service was 100 times more efficent, polite and down right normal. I am not a happy bunny about returning home.

well, iif your bars close at 11:00, and it was 11:01, with bar time, the actual time would have been 11:16. assuming you guys have bar time.

but rudeness is uncalled for. so is not having a drynk.
