I find them rather clever & mildly funny.

I was just never a big fan.

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! As a Cleese fan, do you watch "Fawlty Towers"? It's also a classic.

I've only seen part of one episode but it didn't really appeal to me.

His work in A Fish Called Wanda, however, was hysterical.

No no no no...you must post the entire thing...

Armaments, Chapter Two, Verses Nine to Twenty One.

"And St. Attila raised the hand grenade up on high saying 'O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade that with it thou mayest blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals and fruit bats and large ch ..."

BROTHER MAYNARD: Skip a bit, brother ...

SECOND BROTHER "... and the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it..."

BROTHER MAYNARD: Amen.

Ugh.....I hate Midnight Oil......

Though I did see them live in the early 90's (free tickets) but the opening act was Ziggy Marley which made it worthwhile.

My favorite Python skit has always been the Lumberjack song.

The vomiting/exploding man in the restaurant in "The meaning of Life" made me laugh so hard it hurt.

..."And how are we tonight?"

..."Better."

..."Better?"

..."Better get a bucket. I'm going to throw up."

I have a crush on Eric Idle.

Began after I saw "The Money Programme".

Most talented member, IMHO.
