Is there any wonder that with all the signs and regulations trespassing into our personal lives that the people are finally reaching the breaking point?

Or maybe it's because the people are reminiscing about times gone past and what America was like in their youth that they are angry about?

Don McLean's "American Pie" anyone?

Could this be the answer to "mobs?"

"We don't know what we want, but we are ready to bite somebody to get it."
Will Rogers
US humorist & showman (1879 - 1935)

Could it be that people are slowly coming to the realization that America and the Constitution have gone the way of Puff?

LOL. I just came in from another forum where I am advising young conservatives how to protest.

Yes, I lived the 60's. and these kids think I'm a genius.

Today is a good day. BTW I always loved "Signs". It got the "pop" treatment, but it was a great song.

Great tune.

For me I'll run with "Civil Wars" or a genuine favorite by CCR:

and for lib kids, the man wrote it about Democrat scumbuckets who dragged children into a draft.

AND LBJ made a freaking fortune off of the Vietnam war and began a company known today as HALIBURTON.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag,
Ooh, theyre red, white and blue.
And when the band plays hail to the chief,
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, lord,

It aint me, it aint me, I aint no senators son, son.
It aint me, it aint me; I aint no fortunate one, no,

Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, dont they help themselves, oh.
But when the taxman comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes,

It aint me, it aint me, I aint no millionaires son, no.
It aint me, it aint me; I aint no fortunate one, no.

Some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
Ooh, they send you down to war, lord,
And when you ask them, how much should we give?
Ooh, they only answer more! more! more! yoh,

It aint me, it aint me, I aint no military son, son.
It aint me, it aint me; I aint no fortunate one, one.

It aint me, it aint me, I aint no fortunate one, no no no,
It aint me, it aint me, I aint no fortunate son, no no no,

Well, I thought I'd try and tame the "beast" with a little music. Heaven knows that there is a lot of anger, fear, and frustration running rampant through the land nowadays. I fear that it will not take much to rekindle the flames of Watts or worse. Those idiots in D.C. and their devout followers think that it's all about Obama and race but the fact of the matter is that it is all about survival and respect. The "silent majority" will only take so much before they lash out. It's been a long time coming. They have put up with the mistakes made in Iraq, the blatant corruption and lack of ethics with our politicians, the mess of the housing industry and even the nationalizing of the banks and the car industry but, it appears that they have had enough. The arrogance of our elected officials to pass legislation with all sorts of pork and earmarks and then not even having the decency to read the damn things has lit the fuse. All of this labeling as they lash out hasn't helped and now it looks like the man at the top has called upon ACORN and their aligned unions to commence strong-arm tactics to silence the dissenters. It's definitely going to be interesting to see which ideology will win out.
