Obama and other fellow dems, calling the protests at town hall meetings Mobs or Fake, is extremely insulting and disgraceful. These are every day American citizens and we have the right to shout at our reps when they are doing everything wrong.

Obama/Dems go on to say that these protestors are GOP member and are frauds! So let me get this straight, GOPs and indipendents aren't aloud to attend town hall meetings???? These dems don't represent us? Even if these are organized by republicans, don't gop members have the right to protest and question their congresspeople!!!??? How dare Obama call them out like this.

By calling anyone a cridic of your plan an angery mob, or fakes, you are saying that you want no disent, and that anyone who disagrees with you shouldn't be taken seriously.

Pretty soon, the dems will pass a series of 'Anti-hate Bills' that will limit free speech, and not allow protests of their politicians.

DougThey aren't organized. People are angry and for good reason. We are telling the government we don't want universal healthcare and they aren't listening, And continue to push it. And they insult the protesters by calling them astroturf or saying that these protests are fake.We'll see how fake it is when the midterm elections come up and the ems get voted out of the house and senate.

Agreed. If the shouting campaign was orchestrated then I'm sure it will come out one way or another. I can see the arguments on both sides. There appear to be people afraid and angry at the idea we have to change healthcare. On the other hand there is a LOT of money involved that for-profit companies and special interest groups stand to lose. I can see a quietly organized protest to make it seem that more Americans are hopping mad about this then there really is.
