Cars that were supposed to be taken off the road and destroyed to save the environment ended up turning up in several Latin American and African nations.
The thieves and criminals in the US are gonna make out like fat cats.

You should see the cars close to the border in Mexico. All of our junk American cars head down that way after we are done with them. When you go to Tijuana you can taste the unspent fuel in the air...

When I was driving a truck, I would see convoys of vehicles being driven to Mexico. I say this because the lead vehicle of the two would have a Mexican license plate on it. I would see lines of these "trains" with up to fifty sets of tower-towed cars and pickups.
About once a week or so, I would even see school buses doing the same. Except that the lead bus had a 30 day plate on it.

When you walk through the turn style at the border you are hit with a stench 10 feet into Mexico. I live in SoCal for 13 years. I know what your talking about quite well. 6 of those 13 were in Dago.

Only the worst of the worse cars will be scrapped. The rest will be taken out of country or VIN #'s will be switched and resold here in the US.
