I need somebody to explain to me how articulate Mr Gibbs made the leap from denying potentially life extending treatment to euthanasia? Other than to deflect having to answer the question regarding treatment of the elderly - what on God's earth does he think people are saying that gives him cause to claim conservatives are up in arms that the bill promotes euthanasia? If I typed everything listening to him made me want to say..........this entire post woud be asterisks.

They are just being compassionate penner... Rather than force you to suffer after they refuse your treatment, they want you to have the right to put yourself out of your misery and to not have to worry about how you are going to pay for it. It's all about reducing the cost of health care, but doing so fairly.

The video of Obama himself telling that guy that under Obamacare, his grandma would not get to live 5 years with a pacemaker, instead she would be told to take a handful of pain pills, cannot be deleted from reality. Just play that one a few times in 2010 and 2012 and watch the senior citizens vote 85 to 90% for the Republicans. They have every right to be terrified of the dems.
