After watching the clip at youtube, be sure to look over at the right side, below the name ConservativeNewMedia and click where it says "more info". Look at what is written there and click on the links provided. This serves to back up what Beck says.

Sooner or later one will come across the apologist who says that "blacks cannot be racist." and that this is so because they say that they "lack political and economic power." BTW, lib apologists can make this take other forms (they can word it differently, but it holds the same meaning, nonetheless).

First off, it is a broad-brush stroke/sweeping generalization to say that "blacks cannot be racist." Secondly, many blacks possess political and economic power, certainly within society as a whole, and within the Democrat Party as well.

Barack Obama has political and economic power, too, and he is black.

Some may retort that most blacks are poor (and therefore lack economic and political power), so they certainly cannot be racist. Problem is, is that if they base this belief on them being poor, there are certainly many whites within America that are poor and have been so generationally, especially in Appalachia but not just limited to there, either. Many whites (and Hispanics, Asians and Native Americans) have been poor for generations.

So, will liberals say that poor whites cannot be racist? No.

Hmmmm.

To cut to the core of this, what drives this thought among liberals (that blacks cannot be racist, whether they be poor and lacking political and economic power or whether they possess political and economic power) is because of what happened in the PAST.

Blacks - in the past- were subjected to slavery and Jim Crow laws and so on.

Liberals try to continually transfer what happened to blacks in the past forward to blacks today, thereby trying to give them a free pass from charges of racism due to the sins of others in the past, AND transfer what whites did to blacks in the past to whites living today, thereby trying to lay upon them "white guilt" for the sins of the past.

As you can see, when you break down what liberals say - that blacks supposedly cannot be racist because they lack political and economic power - what liberals say indeed falls apart. Liberals, though, often don't want this broken down and disected, since they often want to keep this discussion at the group level and within a "class consciousness" context.

In the end, any rational thinking person knows that there is black-on-white and white on-black racism, as well as black-on-hispanic and hispanic-on-black racism, and so on. It is time for people to realize this and realize further that we are in the 21st century. Get with the program, people.

Obama himself said that he didn't have all of the facts, yet he just couldn't resist and said anyway that the cops acted stupidly. Insert foot in mouth Did he say that Gates acted stupidly that night when he was asked to comment on this? No.

Gates is his Harvard buddy.

Leon Lashley (the black sergeant at the home of Gates when he was arrested) is now saying that people are calling him an "Uncle Tom." Same ol same ol. If you are black and you don't tow the liberal line, you get called an "uncle tom" by liberals.

I have even seen some blacks on tv saying that it doesn't matter that Lashley says that Gates may have caused grave and potentially irreperable harm to the struggle for racial harmony, because Lashley really isn't black, he is blue (a cop) and you can't trust cops.

Living in Detroit I always asked my black freinds and co-workers why do you continue to vote dem. Most would tell me look what they do for our state. Then I would say, "yes, look at the damage they have caused year after year, wake up"...

I don't use talking points.
in fact, I beat Sean and Rush to the punch quite often.

And unfortunately for you, the truth is getting out there, regardless of the liberal efforts to spread lies

just today, Rush brought to light [for his first time] what I have been saying for months about the 'smoke and mirrors' in the media on the economy. It's like he was reading from my months old posts.

Actually, those are pretty much subjective opinions. For example, un-American. Who gets to decide that? You? Nonsense.

I agree with Beck, but this isn't exactly news. If anyone had doubts before, I'm sure they were erased after the Gates incident.

Nah. It's impossible for Obama to be a racist because he's black. Just look at how libs on this thread are acting.

Obama can never, ever, be racist and I imagine that they (libs here) think that neither can Wright or Farrakhan or Sharpton or Jackson.

Oops, it has been shown though that blacks (along with whites and asians and so on) can be racist.

Didn't Obama say something about his white grandmother being a "typical white person"?

Among many other things too?
