I share a lot of the concern when it comes to conservative hosts bashing each other--but then I take some comfort when I remember that even the early patriots of this country often went at each other tooth and nail (think Adams, Jefferson, Hamilton) and yet had united around the core principles of liberty when push came to shove.
Now that our nation seems to be slipping back into a form of tyranny, it's my hope that as the chains grow heavier so, too, will the unity among today's patriots grow stronger. Rush, Sean, Savage, Levin, Beck, O'Reilly, Laura Ingraham, Huckabee, Medved, Buchanan--all have their strengths and weaknesses, their moments of humility and ego, their quibbles with one another. The differences they have seem petty and inconsequential, though, when one takes a step back and observes the tremendous overlap of their worldviews. They are all champions of the God-given rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness and of the strength and sovereignty of the United States in a dangerous world. I hope they all realize this common ground, too...
