Please spend the word on it. The ACLU is attempting to tear down all memorials to our veterns because they contain religious symbols. We owe the veterns our very freedom and the ACLU wants to destory it. Please help with this, I know people on here support the militry and veterns more than most others. Thank you for your attention. The address for the protest letter is posted, if not its don'ttearmedown.com. Please help our veterns honor their own!!
God Bless.

Have you read the case?
Liberty Legal Institute is hardly and unbiased source.
The ACLU is not attempting to tear down all memorials to our veterns(sic.) PERIOD.
This case has been discussed before and no matter how the case is settled the stupidest thing was to cover the cross while the matter was litigated

Why would I spread a falsehood?

I don't know.
Why Liberty Legal Institute is spreading a falsehood is the real question.

The above link is a nice short synopsis of the actual case points...why this case is being presented in the first place..and why the Supreme Court is now involved.

All I can add is..if we keep the cross there..and spend 'tax' payer dollars to keep it maintained...then any 'memorial' symbols can be used to memorialize other episodes of history and should be maintained by tax dollars. It's all or nothing in this case..which on federal lands is only fair.

Question :...just how many other people are gonna go all the way out to the Mojave desert just to put up some other memorial that no one but a handful of people will ever see? I mean really? Think about that.
