A published author! Kudos to you!

Just as a friendly question, I was thinking of writing a fiction novel myself, but publishing costs seem really prohibitive. Did you send a computer word manuscript and get it e-published?

I did it through Booksurge, which is a little bit to start, but if you can get a lot done on your own (like having a good artist friend do a book cover for you), it'll save money. The hardest part with self-publishing is that you have to get the book out yourself, without the assistance of a big advertising campaign, and that can be a bit difficult.

The other thing you can do is get a Kindle account on Amazon.com and put it up there. There's not a huge kindle audience but it's faster to do.

BTW, I'm playing bass for a guy named Jason Eaton, and we're supposed to be on a Canadian television show called 100 Huntley street this Wednesday. Looking forward to it! If you happen to catch the show, I'll be on the 5 string bass :D

I really appreciate your response! Thank you so very much! :D

I had been mulling over publication for a while, and this is far better insight than I was able to find!
