Even Thought Google Chrome Is Faster Dose'nt It Seem Like Opera Is Faster

I have recently switched from crome to opera and they both switch to the next page in more or less the same amount of time, however I don't know why but opera is just more enjoyable and seems to be faster. I would love to hear if anyone else finds this or has a completely different point of view.

Haven't tried Opera, but I'm on Chrome now...been using it for several months and love it.

I won't use Chrome for the simple fact that it "phones home" to Google without my permisson and reports usage.

Chrome sends details about its usage to Google through both optional and non-optional user tracking mechanisms

Among other things it sends back what you type in the address bar.
