CAMPO, Calif. — At least one suspect wanted for the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent was probably injured significantly during the attack and may seek medical attention on either side of the U.S.-Mexico border, authorities said Friday.

Has all the ear markings of MS-13 or similar violent gang. Most illegal aliens cross over here without any weapons. Very sad about the officer. Sounds like he got separated from his partners.

Of course calling law enforcement officers "Stupid" is something they learned from their leader.

There generally isn't any backup immediaely available when you respond on the border, nor do you work with a partner. At least, I haven't in over 13 years, other than having trainees ride with you. That is the danger of the Border Patrol, compared to street cops: you guys deal with more dirtbags every day, but with more backup; we deal with more people, but by ourselves.
I barely knew the guy; he was coming in as I was leaving the station, he had only been in for a few years...

I highly doubt Obama was the first person to EVER call police officers stupid. If that's the case, he must have been president when I was a kid.

You have another example of a POTUS calling Police Officers "Stupid"??
Do tell...
I personally don't recall ANY POTUS taking sides in such a debate...

My point was PEOPLE have been calling the police stupid for years without what you consider the influence of the president. Obviously you completely miss the point. You can't blame the president for something people were already doing.
Hell, my dad has been calling police stupid since the 80's. I guesst hat's Obama's influence, he must have a time machine.

For a black President to make a statement like he did w/o facts in a situation with a white cop and a black suspect is absolute reccklessness. He literally could have put the lives of cops in danger all over the country.
It also shows how big this idiots ego is.

While that may be, you can't claim he's responsible for people disliking the poice or thinking badly of them, or being suspicious of them. Plenty of people already do that.

A tragic loss not only for this agents family; but for his fellow boarder agents that served with him. Maybe through this horrific loss, Obama will see the need to increase monies to be spent monitoring the boarder in those states who share boarders with Mexico? Maybe old Arnie (California governor) won't be able to squeeze out a half assed rationale as to why boarder agents monitor that boarder alone? Money...it's all it takes to make this group of people's jobs more effective.
Makes my stomach turn knowing that damn coastal cities with wild sea lions will retain their 5 million a year budget for feeding of said sea rats...but our boarder agents are stretched thin as saran wrap over hot potato salad! Makes me sick!

Nope, avoiding them seems to work out well for me. Other than them pulling me over for driving my dad's vehicle when his liscence was suspended thinking I was him.

I was pointing out I avoid entanglements with the police, except that instance which was NOT because of anything I did, since I have every right to drive that car because I'm insured to drive it. At least he apologized for thinking I was an old man.

MEXICO CITY — Police in Mexico have announced the arrests of four men in connection to the killing of a U.S. Border Patrol agent as their counterparts in the United States search hospitals for suspects possibly wounded in the first such shooting in more than a decade. The men detained in Mexico are allegedly part of an immigrant smuggling ring, and 21 people were found with them when police detained them and seized four guns near Tecate, Mexico, said Elias Alvarez Hernandez, coordinator of federal police in Baja California state.

My opinion on it is that he had no idea who was driving the vehicle, and _I_ was not breaking the law. So he didn't have any bussiness bothering me at 2:00am in the morning while I'm trying to drive home. Personally, I didn't give him attitude about it because I just wanted to get him the hell away from me. Sorry, a man pulling a woman over in the middle of the night is just creepy.

However you chose to drive a vehicle whose registered owner has a suspended license, therefore getting the attention of law enforcement for a traffic stop, and then being sent on your way.
Annoying? LOL. You must be an awsome person to be around. Such good vibes.

Oh evidently it's a crime now for a driver with a valid liscence and current insurance on that vehicle to drive that vehicle because the owner's liscnece is suspended. Another case of bothering law abiding citizens, while crimnials do whatever.
Annoying? LOL. You must be an awsome person to be around. Such good vibes.

I wonder if they will extradite them since the death penalty might be involved for such a crime?
