Sad state of things. In a word, Yuck. Ok, a catastrophic health care safety net, great, but to follow Britain and Canada, death sentance for too many. I knew if Obama was elected it would be bad, but this bad? Six months into his administration? Three and a half more years. Come on republicans, come together. We know where the answer is. Palin knows where the answer is. Only if Jeb Bush would give national leadership a try. GOD help US all.

he better change his name to Jeb Rodriguez if he want's to be the president.

get a tan, die your hair black and speak with an accent even if you've been in this country since birth.

Too much drama. Things get magnified on a partisan board to the point it looks like Mad Max is about to kick off. If Obama's plans are that bad for the country then he and Democrats will be tossed out in favor of someone else.

I don't know what kind of leader Jeb Bush would be, but I think the American people have had enough of people named Bush.

:flag: One huge thing we can do as PATRIOTS is to GET INVOLVED with the Tea Parties/other peaceful protest groups. That's what I'm doing. We meet together not only to plan events. but as a support group. We do not meet as particular Party members. We are mostly conservatives, but there are also liberals/independents/others. We are One, united in protesting the loss of our rights & FREEDOMS as Americans. We meet together with the same goal...to speak & act peacefully, share our thoughts & support / encourage each other.

:flag: We have had two very successful Tea Parties so far and now working on the 3rd one. We also attend neighboring cities/towns with other like-minded folks. We wave American Flags & carry pertinent, courteous signs to display our concerns.

:flag: Other positive & effective ways to help is CALL &/or FAX your State Representives to express your views on the issues you're concerned about. Even if the lines are busy, just keep at it! :D

:flag: Also, call and/or tell or send out emails to all your friends/relatives to encourage them to get involved. Tell your co-workers or whomever in person & invite them to a Tea Party or group meeting. If you're artistic, make a flyer to express your concerns. Then hand out, post online or bulletin boards (with permission), put on windshields.

:flag: Above all, PRAYING daily is a Must! Since I live where there's very little privacy, I pray in my walk-in closet or in the shower! It helps settle me down & gives me hope & peace that everything will improve. I whisper some prayers as I do chores, go on my walks, etc etc. Each morning I thank God for another day & ask His blessings on it and for all my family/friends. Yep, I even pray for the President.

:flag: Btw, there will be a huge Tea Party on Sept 12 in Wash DC.
I can't go, but if any of you are interested, check out it out here:

 Hugs & Blessings to you all!

Mad Max has kicked off. You say Obama and the dems are going to be tossed out - where do conservatives plan to get the voters to match the 30 million new Democrats that will be voting in the election of 2010? The days of change through the ballot box have come to an end.
