Land mine left in Goodwill donation box
No suspects and no idea if it could have blown up, Colo. police say

So, some guy in Colorado left a Claymore Mine in a Goodwill Box. Apparently there really are killer deals at the thrift shops.
ARVADA, Colorado - A land mine found in a suburban Denver Goodwill donation box forced the evacuation of a strip mall.The rectangular, olive-green box with the words "Front Toward Enemy" raised the suspicions of Goodwill workers Tuesday.
"RAISED SUSPICIONS?"

At least the cops didn't dust it for fingerprints.

There's something to remember to take off the truck before you go pick somebody up at the airport. Who in the heck ever thought that was a good idea for a novelty?
The only thing I can think of is somebody REALLY, REALLY hates tailgaters.

There's something to remember to take off the truck before you go pick somebody up at the airport. Who in the heck ever thought that was a good idea for a novelty?

Yeah, I agree.
The thing with it is that I don't think the majority of people out there would even know what it represents. People would just be wondering what the hell you had in your trailer hitch.

It would beat that silly border fence they've been building that the illegal aliens have been pointing and laughing at.

These type of primarily command detonated mines are not the most efficient or best choice for the border. They are primarily defensive in nature. A pressure detonated mine is better for the border fence. Sniper back up is a nice plus in case the unlawful aliens actually make it past the border fence. You really do need the fence to hold up the LARGE signs warning that they are walking into a minefield before they actually walk into it.
