4. When you say you "mean it", you are indicating that you believe it. Well, it's great that you believe it, but how about prove it to the rest of us. We already have a credible independent analysis that says you're wrong.

You know, everyone has the right to their own opinion, but in reading a lot of people's post, I've become convinced that some on this board are full of hate. Not all people, just some. And that is certainly their right, but it really speaks to the divisiveness that exists in our political structure. And before anyone jumps all over me, there is also a lot of hate for Republicans on the left as well. Its really sad.

I am not sure what specific post he is responding to, but I think you know there are some very ugly posts on this board from time to time that are very hateful. Again, everyone has their right to fair speech though, which also means a person can call such comments hateful if they feel that way.

....Well, that's kinda how it is in everything in life...There are always extremes....

....Whether it's politics, religion, etc, etc, there are always "angry" statements....And people will always pull the obvious "extreme" person's comments to prove their point, one way or the other...The extreme or harsh statements are always used to descredit the other side....You know, you've heard it....

"See I TOLD you!... THOSE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE, (insert subject here), ARE ALL CRAZY, VICIOUS, ANGRY FANATICS!"...

...I don't think the tactic is particularly effective, but it is done all the time...

I will agree that with the name calling and abusive language that looks/feels like hate but there is also those that will call hate on anyone, (however nicely put) who opposes thier views.

This simplest way to determine if a poster (in this case me) hates Obama is to ask them. But that wouldn't serve the purpose of your post, now would it?

No, I do not hate Obama. Nothing in my post indicates hatred nor is it intended to.

Now of course, my clarification will not matter. The only thing that matters to you is that you characterize me as hateful.

At least be honest about it.
