Lets work for a cure by voting out every Dem and Rino next year. That will limit the growth of the hideous tumor by choking off its blood (money) supply. Once it has been weakened enough then it can be easily excised in 2012. Hopefully it won't leave too bad of a scar.

Obama and co think they know what is best for you. They can better manage your life than you. That is not freedom. He is a true liberal fascist. He is a cancer on this land. May God remove it soon.

Obama is as much a useful idiot to Soros and co as Biden is to Obama.

James Manning had Obama figured out from the beginning.

Get rid of all of them? And put in what? A totally representative conservative government?
With no opposing representatives?

I'd give 'em 2.

I'd give 'em 2.

You'd "give 'em" 2? So under a government totally run by conservatives, you'd allocate 2 opposing reps? That sounds ultra pro America to me. Why not just throw away the Constitution all together and make up a new one in YOUR image and likeness!

A totally lawful federal republic governed by constitutional means that has so little power over the people that it really hardly matters who is in charge at the federal level.

I plan on voting for the candidate that promises to quit spending regardless of if they are a democrat or liberal. Additionally I will look at the incumbants to see how they voted on what I see as "litmus" issues. If you voted for Cap and Trade (regardless of if you read it or not) and National Health Care, I won't be voting for you. I'll tend to ignore the vote on the Stimulus package as that was a hail Mary attempt however I will look at who stuck what PORK in it, and that too will influence my vote.

I'd actually like to see, in my imaginary eyepiece, the government so small that basically the occupants installed in it were useless. I wonder what the state of the country would be? I wonder if there would be any social services at all. No public schools. No abortions. I guess the representatives in Congress would only be there to mouth individual states desires to have even less government to the point where representatives themselves would become another useless element. There would be no need for a supreme court because the Constitution was being literally adhered too. No need to interpret anything. Probably the most active element of that kind of federal government would be the DOD.
Everyone else would be looking for work in the no government oversight work force.

Typical.

Ignoring the continued existence of State and local governance and their 10th Amendment powers (reserved to them) that they may exercise.

And yes, the DoD should be the most active aspect of the federal government.

I was just visualizing such a situation. Not "typical".

Of course the states would most likely be in total control of their own affairs. With no real central government to pass laws over them, they could all become essentially their own countries. With the DOD as a central defense element to protect all the little countries.
