How Republicans fell into THIS OBAMA TRAP, again, again!!! First off, the Obama Machine objective was to create reinforced image of Republicans hatred for ALL Hispanics. Obama wants 100% of the Hispanic vote just as he enjoys with African Americans and he knows that hatred of his opposition will bring out more voters than ANY positive action! Starting with the talk shows, the Republicans rush willingly into the trap and dwell ENDLESSLY on a case that shows reverse discrimination. This is why Obama’s people-operatives selected Sotomayor instead of a more qualified Hispanic – they knew the Republicans would cause and uproar and drive a sedge between Republicans and Hispanics who are naturally defensive about attacks on anyone in their ethnic group.

Those who doubt that such defensive group-think is predominate, need only recall the celebrations in the Black community O.J. was acquitted of murder – the facts were irrelevant when someone of the group was accused. Now that Hispanics comprise more of the U.S. population than Blacks, the Democrats are focused on obtaining their complete loyalty by portraying Republicans as haters of Sotomoyor and by extension …haters of ALLL Hispanics.

All the loons seem to be in alignment. Dems in the House and Senate. A Justice position opening up and worst of all, Al Franken is a Senator.
I wonder if anyone in another solar system is watching this garbage and laughing.

I'm thinking voter fraud Claude... Maybe the kids just never learned about Carter and Reagan in school. They think Steve Cobert is just a hip news reporter.

It could also be that the last bastion of Communism is Harvard Law. Nah...

I agree with you 100%. Republicans should concentrate on getting people to look at a persons past accomplishments (resume) not what they said in 2001. If we had looked at Obama's accomplishments instead of what he said while campagaining, we would have seen he had none and we may not have elected him.

The entire right side of the political spectrum looked at Obama's resume and found it... uh... "lacking". It was the NEWS MEDIA who ignored our complaints. It was the NEWS MEDIA who let him slide through.

The news media doesn't pay a darned BIT of attention to Republicans unless they're trashing Bush or someone else in the Republican party (like Sarah Palin, for instance). The Republicans complain loudly and often about this... the news media simply doesn't report it.

One problem that the Democrats are going to have is the Cubans. They want absolutely NOTHING to do with ANYTHING that smacks of socialism. They've been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Same is true of a few South Americans I know who departed left-leaning countries. They registered Republican as soon as they were made citizens.
