Sean said he eats Frosted Flakes cereal on his radio show today and he loves them. I personally like coco dynobites. It's a guilty pleasure for me. A big bag for 3 bucks at Walmart. They are the best. :D
What 'kid' cereal do you like? ?????

But on the whole, I prefer Frosted Mini Wheats.

As a child my favorite was Frosted Flakes.

By the way TS, if you were going to indulge in a guilty pleasure shouldn't you do it with actual Cocoa Puffs? I mean if its a guilty pleasure you might as well spend the extra 2 dollars.

Don't you find what the crunchberries do to the roof of your mouth troublesome? I remember back in college...after a long nite of ....studying...getting a mouthful of CC with CB's and practically ripping the insides of my mouth out...am I the only one who experienced this?
Lucky Charms, they're magically delicious!! Though as a snack, not a breakfast food. I've found that a helping of sugared cereal has fewer calories that a traditional dessert, and as an adult I worry about that...marginally.

Well, crap. The FDA just spent millions to find out that those crunch berries weren't really berries.
And Cheerios aren't really a drug.

Cream of Wheat must have raisins and brown sugar with a little whole milk. That's how my Granny served it and it was great, when I was a kid. I still prefer it that way.

My health food nut dance buddies, plus my marathon running friends, have put me hooked on the various Kashi cereals because they do not carry artificial ingredients or high-fructose corn syrup.
Disclaimer: I am a Kellogg's shareholder. Kellogg's is the parent company of Kashi.

For kid-type cereal...I have to say Cocoa Krispies (or their generic equivalent, Cocoa Bites), or Cap'n Crunch Berries.
I will still beat down a box of Honey Nut Cheerios though...don't leave it alone with me or it's all over.

I don't mean to put down all those other "cereals" you guys mention, but none come close to the good, wholesome, sunshine dipped happiness that are Froot Loops. There's just no comparison.

Still in the closet, eh?There are no "Fuit Loop" fans, on the other hand, FROOT LOOPS (aka flavored Cheerios) are tasty. :))
As for Cream of Wheat, I still eat it with a pat of "butter" (Country Crock).

For guilty pleasure, I like any of the Captn Crunches, peanut butter is my favorite. For everyday eating, I like Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds. We eat a lot of Maple & Brown Sugar Instant Oats around our house. I do like Malt O' Meal with honey added to it. The kids like HBoO, Fruity Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios and Corn Chex with a banana sliced up in it. They are not allowed anything sweeter than the above. I know, I am a bad mom for depriving them of a good ol' fashion sugar buzz, but I love them.

When I was a kid we didn't have the great proliferation of "junk" cereals the way we do today. And as more and more junk cereals gradually came on the market, my mother wouldn't buy them, anymore than she would think of buying soda or lots of candy. Did I feel deprived? No becase my mother simply explained why it wasn't good for me. I consider myself lucky that I had parents who taught me how to be responsible. I still have the same good eating habits today, as I did back then and I'm enjoying good health.
Talk-show hosts seldom set a good example when it comes to healthy eating. Whatever you do, don't follow their example. For one thing, as radio advertisers, they represent an extension of the fast food industry.

Honey Nut Cheerios.
Even though I'm really allergic to them.
But those aren't too kiddy, since they made them into a cholesterol "drug".
How about Lucky Charms??
