I kill a couple of hours here and there after work. What about you guys?

Feel free to vent about the stupidest plays by the biggest morons who manage to beat you on chasing the river.

Today:

My trips got busted by someone who called my all-in on the turn and got their gut shot straight on the river. 3 other occasions my high pair, high kicker got beat by ppl who chased either a flush or straight after the turn after calling my all-in. All but one (had a third underpair) had nothing prior to calling.

If I weren't playing casually on low money tournaments (10 bucks and less), I'd probably have thrown my monitor through the window.

Never play for real money, though.

Same here...I play the one on Facebook...not sure if that counts for what the "Other Cid" is asking. :)

Not a big fan of hold-em. I prefer draw or stud poker with no wild cards. Now that's a game!

I don't usually spend much time at home online (no way I could play at work), but I have played in a couple of tournaments.

Last one I was in , down to the final five players, I flopped the nut flush (I was holding A-K of hearts and the flop was Q, J, 5 of hearts). I slow-played it, just betting three times the big blind, and the guy on the button decides to raise me. So I re-raised and he called. Next card is 10 of diamonds (I saw a red 10 and my heart almost stopped). I bet the pot, he goes all in and I immediately call...he's holding 5-10 off suit. And of course the next card is the 10 of clubs.

Worst part is the guy was actually GLOATING about it! He hit the ONE ****ING CARD in the deck that would save him (two people said they'd folded with), and he's gloating. I hung in and managed to slip into 4th, but I fumed about that one for days.
