I have to get this off my chest. As far as I am concerned OJ can rot in Nevada Pen and never get out. I have my own reasons, probably different from others.
First, I don't know why or how Simpson killed Ron and Nicole. I don't know if he was lying in wait (which begs the question of how he could have known Nicole would have forgotten her glasses and Ron would have taken them to her home). I don't know if his crime was murder or manslaughter. Whatever, he did it. There is really no doubt about it. And the fact that he was acquitted in the criminal case never really bothered me because celebrities have their own special presumption of innocense and otherwise likable celebrities often times get one time "Get out of jail" passed. And the fact the trial took place on the heels of the Rodney King beating trial acquittals did not help the prosecution. But that is not my issue.
What bothers me about Simpson is that he was handed the gift of the century, namely, his undeserved freedom. Now given that gift he had many choices on what to do. He could have gone on with his life of denial and improved on his reputation as a punk and a thug (which is exactly what he did), or he could have done even ONE thing to redeem himself. I am not aware of anything he did to help anyone BUT his own sorry ass after he got out of the Los Angeles slammer. Naturally I could have given him a list of things to do that might now have made him into a saint, but at least could have demonstrated some appreciation for the gift he received.
So what does he do? What didn't the man do? He gets arrested repeatedly and finally gets involved in a two-bit robbery in Nevada. That's the behavior of a worthless human being. It's the behavior of a person who violated the gift handed to him by the Los Angeles jury. And for that alone he should forever be banned from walking around as a free man. And if he is lucky enough to serve out his sentence and get out on parole I hope he takes his sick old sorry behind and forever stays out of public view.

I would bet that he didn't anticipate Ron being there, nor the glasses. He was there to see what Nichole was, or who Nichole was doing and it turned out that way. simpson (refuse doesn't deserve to be capitalized) is one horrible, festered boil on the buttocks of a wonderful country, America. America has died a little bit at times over travesty's like him and he won't be the last.
As far as what he did when he was released without just cause, he was looking for the "real" murderer. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

When people get away with murder, in this case literally, they always think they can do it again. It's simple human behavior.

You make a very good point. If criminals get caught and pay for their deeds, they don't always do it again, but one which gets off free will be there to commit another crime right away. "Serial Killers" kill an ungodly amount of people, as long as they don't get caught. They go on and on and on.

Who knows what he feels about what he did. Maybe he feels justified. Who knows. My entire point was about second chances. Some people GET a chance and spend the rest of their lives making life better for others. Then there are people like Simpson and I would be interested in knowing just ONE thing he did to benefit someone other than himself (and I don't mean signing an autograph or posing for a photo).

You might say that simpson is the "dick tracy" of his era for sure.

You know what Bugs the hell out of me about the OJ murder trial..
Not once...(And I was one of those addicted ones that watched most of it )....Not ONCE while the Defense was trying to paint a picture of the Glove and the Blood being "Planted" did Marcia Clark or ANYONE ELSE on the Prosecution Team make this point....
No one KNEW WHERE OJ WAS WHEN THE EVIDENCE WAS "SUPPOSED" TO HAVE BEEN PLANTED!!!
He could have been in Florida playing Golf...At a Party with 100 friends and sponsors..
I mean he WAS a pretty popular guy.
So WHY IN THE WORLD would someone go plant evidence at a residence...Take pictures of it...When there was a HIGH LIKELYHOOD he could have been with any number of people in any number of places..
It just made no sense....
But Marcia Clark was an IDIOT...IMO..

I mean he WAS a pretty popular guy. Of course I understand that the "plastic, protective" gloves must be put on to protect the evidence too.

Plus, any police investigator knows that you can't slip plastic gloves on someone/anyone and expect to then put a pair of gloves on over them and expect the gregular loves to fit.

No wonder you asked for reinstatement. If that was all I had to think about I would go crazy also. :D
