Amnesty For Democrats

I think it's time to reach out to all of our neighbors and friends who voted for Obama. I propose that Sean spearheads a national "Amnesty for Democrats" initiative. I believe the average Democrat is probably embarrassed and concerned over the dangerous course being pursued by Obama. Meanwhile, we give the average Democrat a free pass by talking about the Liberals, as if they have nothing to do with the Democrats. Sorry, my nice neighbor and his wife voted for this and I want them to know it. The RNC should be targeting this demographic very specifically. I think Sean is in a great position to launch the "Come Back To America"program for embarrassed Democrats. If Rush can run "Operation Chaos", Sean can launch "Amnesty for Democrats".

LOL Operation Chaos worked out really well for the Republicans. Without doubt one of the stupidest things Limbaugh has ever done. But lets be honest he never did it out of any real concern for the country but because it garnered him some publicity. I have no problem with that, he is a canny businessman but politically it was a bad move.

I think that's a good idea. I'd include RINOs in the program.
The only requirement should be that they take an oath to the constitution and renounce their Bolshevik beliefs to receive the amnesty.
This is similar to what was done with the Confederates at the end of the war.

I think you might be overestimating the number of "embarrassed" Democrats - In fact, many news reports contain stories of how some groups are upset that the Obama Administration isn't liberal enough (hasn't been progressive enough on DADT, gay marriage, healthcare, etc.)

I don't think there should be an initiative. Dems gave Cons an unspoken initiative with four years of Senior Bush and eight years of "shrub."
