First, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but anyway.

I bought flowers for Mother's Day from PRO-Flowers.com. using Sean Hanity in the promo code box on the website. At the end of the order, a pop-up appeared for a future discount. However, I closed the pop-up. In Jun a charge of 14.95 appeared on my credit statement from a company called EASY SAVER. I didn't think much of it at the time. Today another charge of 14.95 appeared on my statement from the same EASY Saver company. I did an online search and found lots of complaints from customers who bought flowers from PRO-Flowers.

I called PRO-Flowers and the customer rep, said she would have the charges reversed. Now I was happy with the fact that the charges were going to be reversed, but now I'm ****ed because PRO-Flowers knows about this practice. PRO-Flowers lost my business.

Yep, once a company tries to back stab me, I'm done with them too. Forever.

To get the future discount you have to sign up for the Easy Saver program. Easy Saver is a rewards program that charges a monthly fee. They typically have a $1.95 trial sign up and if you don't cancel it within a certain time period, the $14.95 monthly fee kicks in.

The trick is that you sign up by entering your email address to get the discount on the next Pro Flowers purchase. Most people are like, "discount, sure. fantastic! Let me enter my email address." They tend to miss the fine print off to the side.

I don't believe they actually sign people up without their consent, but like with a lot of things on the internet, people start clicking and next thing you know, you're a member.

And Easy Saver isn't just associated with Pro Flowers so beware.

Credit cards have a lot more problems with the cards number being highjacked while ordering items connected into many internet sights.
It happened not 1 time but 2 times to a good freind of mine next door who had to change his card for the third time. So he got device and hooked into the internet to protect his credit card number..but many sights wont complete the transaction with out these shadow websights working in the back ground.

Some general advise. If a company won't give your money back and you used a credit card, you can file a complaint with your credit card company and ask them to do a charge back against the company (because you obviously didn't authorize any such charge). You can, and should, also file a Better Business Bureau against the company in question if you have to take the charge back step.
