Americans need to lighten up!!

I plan to send our grand daughter some books of rhymes from amazon, some have cd's in the back. I was reading by the time I was 2 and a half. Love to read now: c s lewis the toliken
and the classics not for daily. read the two above years ago excellent writers for the young.

My kids use to love them. So did I:razz: It's always good to try to include the classics into children's lives so they can enjoy them. Life has become so busy, the rhymes are a nice way to have fun and relax. A good way for them to learn too:razz:

Have you seen any of Shel Silverstein's children's books.
My son received a copy of Where the Sidewalk Ends and had the typical reaction to getting a book as a gift.
After a week he loved it.
I think he was about 3 or 4.
