What really has me angry about this bill is first, the debate about climate change is not over, there is still information that is uncertain. The biggest thing though is that it was presented yesterday, over a thousand pages, and voted on today. NO ONE HAD TIME TO READ IT! I am so sick of these people voting on bills that affect all of our lives, our bills, our take home pay, our gas prices etc...without even reading what is actually in the bill. Why is it that there were so many pages? Why did it have to be voted on so quickly that everyone was not given a chance to read it and for there to be a healthy debate, allow for the people of this country to understand what our representatives were voting on so that we could contact them and let them know how we wanted to be represented. What was the rush to vote on something so large, so expensive without being read?

I cannot tell you what page is what I would have to look it up as far as I saw it was 932 pages then today someone at congress said it was 1200 pages I dont know for sure. But, I can tell you alot of it is garbage and I had to stop reading cuz I got upset when it came to some pages that were about the government control of what you can drive and controlling how much electric usage we have.
The other issue I would like to address is anger. There is what is called justifiable anger. I do not and I repeat DONOT have anger to go out and shoot someone or beat on anyone, my anger is a justifiable anger meaning that I have a right to get angry when I see injustice in this wonderful nation of ours for example. I do not hate anyone and I donot hate Obama even though I may joke alittle about him. I have nothing against this man I just donot approve of most of his policies which I have a right to do. I am tired of not doing anything when I see injustice done. My own daughter cannot pray outloud in school over her lunch for the school fears it will offend someone I believe that is an injustice. If she prayed outloud she would not be putting her religion on anyone. And I live in what is supposedly called the Bible belt.

I was trying to write my congressperson about not reading the bill.

One problem, a lot of them have a list of what you can write them about, if it's not on the list sorry. I've tried writeing under the wrong topic but then I get a form letter saying it was under the wrong topic and to try again.

Blossom, don't pay attention to anyone that mocks your anger. You have a right to express it. There are many people that share your anger. Those that think the government can do a better job than the private sector at running businesses hasn't paid attention to most government agencies.

The government is growing by leaps and bounds. That will do nothing but make it even less efficient. It will also curb a lot of entrepreneurs' aspirations, and we will all eventually feel the pain in the way of taxes.

I cannot believe anyone, on the left or the right, or in the middle, would condone our government passing legislation without that legislation being carefully scrutinized. Look how many bizaare things have come out of the stimulus package they passed. Do you think the people would have gone along with that? They are supposed to be our representatives.

Instead, we are ruled by czars.
