I heard a rumor that some real news happened today. How many times can you say the same thing about Jackson? Move on already!

Funny the first thing I found on the news early this morning was a replay of Larry King doing a 2 hours special on MJ, switched over to HLN, MJ coverage, over to MSNBC and a Morning Joe correspondent had just finished something that might not have been about MJ but Joe then asked the remote correspondent to Moonwalk out of his segment and then they cut to commercial with a promise of an MJ update when they came back, at that time Gretchen was doing the Pundit Pit thing on Fox and Friends discussing Obama's Health initiative, his Cap and Trade etc.

I guess it is all in the timing. :))

The biggest assault on freedom in US history happened today. You would think that Sean and company could give it a little coverage.

Oh, I almost forgot. God bless SSGT. Melton. I hope our country is worthy of his sacrifice.

Thanks for that, and I do hope we are.

Solution: Stop watching cable/mainstream news.

Problem solved.

I haven't had TV News on since this morning so I don't know what hasn't been covered.

I am afraid the majority of the people that put the current party in power into power are more interested in MJ's demise than the Country's pending demise.

LOL ...You must have been living under a rock for the last 3o years-Jackson was an AMERICAN ICON like Elvis and Sinatra ...

No not living under a rock.

I know exactly what Jackson was.

I am a fan of his music and I do feel his life took a very tragic turn and I know his death is a very large deal.

However I do understand that many people lose perspective.

This is bad, but they'll never match the overkill they gave Princess Diana.
That went on for a month.

Well, she did at least have a bit of grace and style -- and a royal title to boot.

Or so the tabloid Yellow Journalists would have us believe.

Yesterday, I felt sorry for Jackson.

Today, I don't have to.

Just another wasted life -- lots of potential, destroyed in one orgy of self-destruction after another.

Total nothing who leaves nothing worth a damn behind -- except maybe as an object lesson in how NOT to live.

There's nothing that could be said about Michael Jackson that couldn't be said in the rolling ticker tape at the bottom of the screen.

Hit that nail on the head......a celebrity worshipping culture lost one of it's GOD's!

The same morons who camped outside of the hospital and are glued to their TV's are the same morons who voted Punky Bamster in to office......:wall:
