Found this a little bit ago. Looking back on my pizza delivery days, it's so true.

6. When you see me drenched and shivering in the rain, it's not nice to close the door in my face while you search for some quarters in the sofa cushions.

I can't tell you how many times that has happened.

11. I remember every customer who doesn't tip. I won't do anything to jeopardize my job, but shaking the soda on the next delivery would not be out of the question

AMEN! On top of not ever getting your order early again. If I was going to a known non-tipper. If the time was quoted at 30-40 minutes. If I could have got it there in 20 minutes because we weren't busy, I would jack around until I got there at 39 minutes.

I am a very good tipper.

I have still had lousy pizza, omitted items, wrong toppings, but I have never blamed those on the drivers, some people do.

I have never made a driver wait and usually I am outside the door patiently waiting with checks or cash all ready to go including tips so they can get to their next stop all the more quickly.

I am friendly and converse amiably with drivers.

Unless it is a new driver I get my pizza delivered so fast sometimes the cheese is still so hot it runs and sticks to your skin like wax dripped off a candle.

I am 3.5 miles away from the pizza place, out in the country.

I think they like me. :))
