Perez Hilton is living proof of the complete wasteland the internet has become. We were better off back in the days when computers were harder to use and you had to have more brain cells than fingers to operate one. Excellent point. As my previous post might have led you to believe, I was called such terribly hurtful words as "dork" or "geek" a few times growing up. Boo hoo. I learned to ignore it.

This emphasis on self esteem has gotten out of control and taught most of my generation that you're defined entirely by what others think about you.

That said, I can't say TOO much about Hilton's constant bashing of everybody in his path, because these days, everything I see on the news either angers me or shocks me to the point where I have to pick my jaw up off the floor. A lot of my commentary is pretty angry - the difference being that I try my hardest to attack the ideas, not the people.

And he did not leave it at that.. he went after them verbally at the show. The guys in the band were origianlly just asking Perez to leave them alone. He went balistec after that. Kinda looks like Perez Hilton made a few comments to warrent appoarch asking why he was attacking the Black Eyes Peas more than once duering the night.
He was asked why twice by his own admittance. He must have said more than willing to admite to get a reponce of never write about the band again. His attacks must have gotten worse to get smacked like that.

I have not seen anything about the black eyes peas side of the story yet to know for sure but I think Perez was over the line all night with them to get punched.

If this is a truth and Perez was actively attacking them on the blogs and such.
Perez might want to be a bit more careful about talking lawsuits while trying to ruin a band via internet. A counter suit could have him back living with his mother.
