OK, I'm 8 years late but last night my wife and son were watching the Second Season on DVD and it was OK at first, yeah I get it.
And then I watched another episode.
And then, three hours later I was horse from laughing, had tears in my eyes and had to ice my ribs because I fell off the couch laughing.
More than once we had to rewind because I laughed so hard and so long we missed a lot of what came next.
The relationship bewteen JD and the Janitor is Aces but far and away, the brightest star, the one with an absolute gift for comedic delivery is McGinley's Perry Cox.

As far as I'm concerned, Scrubs is the funniest show in the history of television. My wife and I watch it at least three episodes a day and it never gets old.

Yeah, Scrubs is great. I just found it a couple of years ago. Now I've seen pretty much every episode.
John C. McGinley's character is one of the funniest characters in the history of television.
"Listen to me, you walking pile of neuroses, take your blah-blah to the blahblahologist. Because if you're dumb enough to confront the chief of medicine over some quasi-sexist endearment, you better replace the captain of your brain-ship, 'cause he's drunk at the wheel!"

Hard to point to just one show I like the best, but the musical is right up there at the top.

I first discovered that show in reruns just in the last five or sixth months and have scared my cat numerous times from laughing so loud.
It is great.

The other thing I particularly enjoy about Scrubs is the character development. The characters actually learn, grow and evolve as the seasons go on. That's rare in network TV.

I saw the show's supposed final season on ABC last season, and it was humorous.
Any thoughts on the new season where it will mainly takes place in a classroom?

Sorry I can't help.
I didn't even realize it was still in production until last week when a couple of local DJ's were discussing the upcoming season and the speculation that one of the characters was leaving.
