SACRAMENTO, Calif. – It was a gift no girlie man would give.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has warned lawmakers they need to act boldly and make some tough budget choices, sent Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg a metal sculpture of bull testicles.
It was intended as a gag gift but Steinberg, a Sacramento Democrat, was not amused and returned the football-sized gift with a terse note about the seriousness of the ongoing negotiations.

I believe Arnold had his taken away by his wife since he became Governor so he should have kept these as a reminder of who really needs a pair.

Oh I can't believe this even hit the media! It was a perfect gift to give the head of our legislature...they've needed a pair for literally decades! :))
Pull up the pictures of this guy...talk about a real winner....lol.
Arnold is trying to go out walking tall...but I think it's a bit to late to try and revamp his Governator image now.
Seriously though..Sacramento has been held hostage by way left libs for decades now. No governor...on either side of the political aisle is gonna get anything done until that darn legislature is a bit more balanced. I say good luck with that. California.... the state that produced Frankenstein, her lap dog Boxer (Don't call me Ma'am..call me Senator..it's a title I've worked long and paid allot for!) and of course, The Great and Powerful Pelosie. (Don't mind that man behind the curtian...I am the Great and Powerful OZ!) LMAO....
Maybe it's time to move?

Move to where? Heck, I was born and raised in NJ and look at all the trouble they are in. What is the common denominator here.....Dem controlled EVERYTHING!!!! Now mind you, Christine Todd Whitman (the air is "clean" at Ground Zero), former Republican governor of that state didn't do the Republicans any favors either. She left mounting debt and the state is really in the crapper. However then you have McSkeevey....McGreevey who really fouled things up. Looked like a cast member from "The Sopranos". Told my family that on one trip back (they weren't amused and my kids mouths almost hit the floor when I said it. I am the lone black sheep of the family as a Republican/Conservative). Then they elect Corzine who I knew was lying through his teeth and told 'em so, but noo they elected him and 6 months later his hikes the darn property taxes so high people there can't pay them. I mean when you are paying $15K for property taxes in one shot it is a killer. I hope this time and it looks like they might, turn it around a little and elect some Repbubs to balance it out. That is what California needs to do. Balance is the key to everything. If you have an equal number of folks from the same party, then maybe instead of their own interests (boy am I stretching it here) they will do what the people want and not what they want. Something has to turn around here in CA and pretty darn quick. People are really getting PO'd and in a big way. I don't know what it will take but it better happen quick. The people aren't going to be silent much longer and when it does break open, boy oh boy look out.
If people want a view of what the US Government can do, look no further than CA. That is what a single party system can do to YOUR country. It really stinks, but other states are having similar problems as well.

I whole heartily agree! Well posted!:clap:
My 'maybe it's time to move' comment was more tongue in cheek...it's bad everywhere anymore...no where to move too thats any better then where I am now. Sad but true.
I've thought about running for some seat...but know I wouldn't last long in that specific venue. To mouthy...to opinionated..and more like a rottweiler with a bone when I know I am right. Not a good personality fit for governmental type positions. lol. :))
