Every band I've been to see has performed 'live', seems that Ms Spears can't be bothered to do that, interestingly the venue wasn't sold out:

Is it me or am I the only one who thinks that a requirement of touring should be that you know WHAT city you are actually in?...

I'm surprised she knows what planet she's on.

Personally I always think that one of the requirements for playing "live" is that you should actually be playing live.

Tons of artists lip sync when performing live. Depends on acoustics and such.

But I have to laugh at the wrong city thing, after that was featured on some ad here several months ago.

Who actually listens to her anymore, besides teenage girls?

You say that as if anybody but teenage girls ever listened to her. :))

I thought that as well but this is one sentence from the revue. But this mixed gaggle of teens, twenty-somethings and gay men welcomed her fondly....

Go girl!........Expanding that core support, although I would also add "tone death people" to that list......:))........

I remember in 1984 Madonna tried miming in Manchester, trouble was that she tried it in The Hacienda, that's way too cool a venue to be 'uncool' at, she was heckled and I'm not sure but I don't think she's been back since...

You say that as if anybody but teenage girls ever listened to her. :))You've obviously never seen all the photos of those teenaged girls' dads going to her concerts when she was still a teen performer. Perverts. And apparantly she had a following among gay men for a while, don't know if she's still popular in that demographic. I think even her original fans that are 20's now have mostly left her.

Why doesn't she just get strung out on meth and rob a 7/11 already - you know, save us the drama over the next 10 years.

Feel free to keep her as long as it takes to teach her geography, which should be a very long time. Everyone in the U.S. over the age of 14 will thank you for it.

I swear, Brittany has the worst taste/choice in management and handlers. Had she had someone actually do the job they were paid to do...they would have made sure that she knew where in the heck she was! I mean dear lord!

Brittany is like so 1990's anyway....can't believe she is still performing and or singing.

OK, I don't know if you wrote that phrase that way to be funny, or if you just didn't think about how you were saying it. Either way, its hilarious in a Brittany thread - but for different reasons depending on the reason you wrote it.

Every generation says that their music was the best.........

But I'm right when I say it..................

Seeing how all the present day artist are 're-recording'/sampling our songs...I'd say your dead on right. ;)

Have you heard the song remake by Seether? From George Micheal Wham days....Careless Whisper....it freaking rocks!

Yes I just heard it on YouTube but I was never a George Michael or Wham fan in the 80s anyway....

I had many an argument with people who used to champion stuff like that, 300 people worked with me at Manchester Garages and they were always picking on me about musical taste....

They liked Michael Jackson and Wham and I had the good sense (and taste) not to but c'est la vie.......

He needs to go on tour here, where he belongs. :snooty:

Well you're welcome to him as far as I'm concerned......

Just a matter of musical taste but I consider him a damn fine dancer but that's it.....

Musical taste is VERY subjective after all.........

I don't have any Michael Jackson CDs and have no plans to add to my collection.......;)........

She's a classic example of someone who can't handle success. Her career is running her, and I feel sorry for her.

Have you noticed that the less successful their music is, the more they pour into their stage show?
