DUI Councilwoman to Police "I approve your salaries. I approve your salaries"

GLASTONBURY — A town councilwoman arrested earlier this month on a DUI charge warned police as they were booking her that she was a member of the town council and that she "approves their salaries."

During the processing, police ask Wagner several times whether she'll take a Breathalyzer test.

Wagner does not answer, but instead asks to call her husband and to go home.

"I am a member of the Glastonbury Town Council and I approve your salaries," Wagner says. "And think you're being really rude."

Toward the end of the interview, the four-term Democrat and council minority leader brings up the officers' salaries again.

"I approve your salaries. I approve your salaries," she says.

"Ma'am, that's not really going to get you anywhere," an officer responds.

This is the same police precinct where the black female judge was taped making racial slurs against booking officers during her DUI intake last October, I believe it was.

Damn. What is with our "public servants"?

We now have....

1. Liz at Congressman McDermotts office. She prefers to go by Elizabeth J. Becton, not Liz. A chain of 19 e-mails from Becton berating a gal at JPMorgan confirms this.

2. Babs Boxer. She does not like to be called "Ma'am" by a serving military officer (except that this is his training--women in superior positions are called "Ma'am" in the military). Babs took offense at being called "Ma'am" and admonished the speaker to call her "Senator Boxer".

3. Now we have this dolt. She "approves the police salaries", so that excuses her from putting innocent lives in danger when she breaks the law and drives DUI?

4. Obama belittles and denigrate Tea Party attendees. You know--We, The People.

5. Cynthia McKinney thought she should be exempt from the metal detector and inspection all people must submit to when entering Capitol Hill. When the officer didn't recognize her, she took great offense--and hit him with her cell phone. Fortunately, this arrogant bitch was run out of GA on a rail, and now resides in California with all the kooks. Right where she belongs, in liberal looney land.

You should have put "four-term" in bold text as well as "Democrat".

This is what too much time in a position of power does to a lot of these people.

We have a state senator from around here who was arrested for DUI, and warned the highway patrol officers that "When I'm Governor, I'll have all your jobs." Funny thing is, he was re-elected twice after that and finally retired, having never lost an election.
