What can be done to rid us of Gerrymandering? Citizens in Gerrymandered districts have as much choice as citizens of Castro's Cuba. Isn't Democracy supposed to give us a choice for our representatives? Instead it is crammed down our throats by the powers that be. The result is a group of representatives who don't care how much they spend and don't bother to reply to constituents. There is no incentive for them to do so. Maybe term limits are a partial answer. At least the faces would change and maybe some of them would be good legislators and not be corrupted by Washington.

Gerrymandering is the only thing that stands between you and a one party state.

Gerrymandering has no other purpose than to assist in keeping a ruling party in power.

False. It keeps the minoroty party represented. If it didn't exist every state would have all of their elected officials from one party.

Congressional districts shall be drawn using only 4 straight lines and 4 angles that add up to 360 degrees. The only exception to the straight line rule is it the line covers the border of a neighboring state
