If they can close car dealers and dictate what kind of cars can be built then what other industries will the government control?

When Government run Health Care goes broke, will the government begin looking for scapegoats such as fast food, and alcoholic beverage producers?

Will Big Mac’s & Budweiser soon be just a memory for America?

They’ve already proven they will do it

If they can tell GM what kind of car to build, they can tell McDonalds to sell tofu instead of hamburgers.

Funny, that’s the same sarcastic comment I got 3 months ago when I said the Government was going to take over General Motors.

When Government run Health Care goes broke,

Obamacare is already broke. Obama wants to borrow billions just to get it started.

Obamacare will be financed by China.

Only the McDonald's whose profits exceeding expectations and whose General Managers that donated to Republicans will be forced to closed.

Will Obama stop smoking to control health care costs?

How about Obama quits smoking first and then we will talk about shutting down McDonalds.

Oh...BTW...They did this (sorta) in Los Angeles...

Obama stop smoking? Hardly. He does one thing and says that Americans need to work out and eat more veggies.

I love how the media presents Obama as the epitome of health and fitness, even though he smokes.

BTW - Here is what they did in Los Angeles...

The Los Angeles City Council unanimously voted on Tuesday to put a one-year ban on new fast-food restaurants in one of the city's poorest areas, marking the latest effort by a municipality to fight rising obesity rates

Not quite the same thing, but VERY close.

Keep banging your head against that wall.

Apparently, you have forgotten that the government has:

1. Told us how much water out toilets can use

2. Told us what kind of light bulbs we have to use.

3. Banned trans-fats (not nationally, yet, but indeed locally)

Is regulation of the fast-food indusrty such a srtetch?

A "fat" tax on the food at fast-food restaurants, like the tax on sweets and sodas, is coming. The democrats are in a tax frenzy, eventhough their messiah promised no taxes on those making $250K or less. I guess they think that only those making over $250K can afford a Big Mac...

I guess they think that only those making over $250K can afford a Big Mac...Let's see...He could create 100,000 new jobs at the FDA and the new tax only has to cover a portion of the cost because we would save so much in health care down the road. Oh yeah, we will have to carry our w-2s with us before we order so they can figure out if they have to apply the tax...:))

Nono, he would create or save that many jobs.

But a grander plan would be to solve the problems of obesity, energy and national service at the same time. I propose that we build ten million rotary power systems, and require all Americans to spend a few hours per week running around inside them to generate electricity.
