I'm struck by the unusual way in which the LMSM is handling the coverage of Scott Roeder. In most sensational, national shootings, the killer is almost always front and center in the story. His face, his manifesto, old yearbook pictures, drivers license photo, his face ... are all plastered over the airwaves and newspaper covers, but in this story, there's seems to be a stronger visual emphasis on the victim.
The LMSM seems to be showing more images from the crime scene and of Tiller in general than the killer. A big knock on the LMSM has been their tradition of glorifying killers ... Littleton, the Virginia Tech shooter, the DC sniper, the dude they originally thought bombed Atlanta's Olympics venue ... the LMSM plays these things in the 24 hour news cycle until they're accused of being insensitive to the victims, etc.
Of course, there's not much emphasis in the LMSM about the Army recruiter killer either ... are we seeing a new tone in the LMSM or are they on another agenda?? Maybe they like to glorify random killers but not those who undermine liberal issues??
