I will start off saying that i am a Christian and do believe in the power of prayer. I don't know what I'm in need of prayer more for. For them to be benign or for me to have peace no matter what the outcome. I also have two small cysts which I'm not too concerned with. I will admit I have always had a mild form of hypochondria, which doesn't help the matter.
Anyway, for those who have knowledge of thyroid nodules, you know that the majority(95%) are benign. However my ultrasound revealed that they are solid and hypoechoic which means that there is a 26% chance that one or the other can be cancer. Thankfully they are SMALL and can't even be biopsied yet, but it's still worrisome. One minute I feel confident that it's no biggie, and they will go away on their own, and continue not to cause problems, then the next minute my thoughts are racing w/ thoughts of thryoid removal(which hosts other problems of their own) and cancer.
I just need some prayers of and for peace.
