We like many Americans are stuck under a mountain of ever increasing debt and are living practically paycheck to paycheck. I don't ask you to put us before the many people on here with FAR greater needs, but we ask that you take some time and please pray for our family and our financial situation as well as that of the many Americans in our shoes.

Hello Matthew,

You and your Family have my prayers to the Good Lord. I' sure He is hearing a whole heaping of them now including my own. I can only hope and pray that He notices and sends his Good Graces.

Be as well as you can be,

Jim

I pray that God opens doors for you, and that you learn to trust through this. God has always made provisions for us, even when we didn't know when or where it was coming from. Thankfully, we don't live in a constant need of lack, but there have been those times when we didn't know how we were gonna stretch our dollar till the next paycheck, and that's when he always shows up!!

Done and done.

Yes, many are enduring unbelievable financial crises -- and that causes emotional crises that can and do affect the entire family.

I pray He have mercy on us all.

And that we remember Christ's words too: "For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on.

Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing?

Look at the birds of the air, how they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not worth much more than they?

And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life's span?

And why are you anxious about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory did not clothe himself like one of these.

But if god so arrays the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more do so for you, O men of little faith?

Eo not be anxious then, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or With what shall we clothe ourselves?

For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; but your heavenly Father knows you need all these things.

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

Therefore, do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Math. 6:25-34

As one of those also sharing so heavy a financial crisis, I pray He give you the food, the drink, the clothes, the place to lay your head, safe from the winter cold and summer heat, secure in all the things of the flesh which we all need to stay alive and well in this physical world.

But, more than that, I pray He relieve the anxiety, remove the stress, still the storm-tossed waters of your personal lives, that He restore peace and confidence in His grace almighty, calm of heart and mind, that you may love one another and rejoice in each other even as He first loved and rejoices even now in your very existence, for surely He sees the beauty of your souls as far greater a treasure than the most glorious bird or flower He ever created.

Stand strong against the gale storm winds, friend, and together, by the grace and mercy of the LORD Himself, we shall survive and even thrive despite the storms we now face.

May each member of your familly be a bird cherished by the LORD and fed by His own grace that you may rejoice in this day's beauty, safe from this day's threats, day by day by day forevermore.
