But, in response to questions about Ms. Boyle, a spokeswoman said: “Police were called to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act. The woman was taken voluntarily by ambulance to a clinic. At the request of doctors, police accompanied the ambulance.”

British newspapers reported that she had been begun to behave erratically after losing to a dance group called Diversity in the Saturday night finals of the show that had transformed her into a worldwide phenomenon. In public she had seemed gracious in defeat.

I hope she's okay.

The ridiculous amount of exposure and pressure this once normal person had to endure lead her to treatment for some mental issues. And she went voluntarily.

She'll be fine, it's just that she's had so much worldwide exposure. She will shortly be making an album with The Czech Symphony Orchestra, no need to make a big deal about this, everything will turn out fine now that BGT is over.....

She didn't 'land in a rubber room'. She received a mental health evaluation. Voluntarily.

Needed to be cooled down after passion. I've watched too many game shows to know over the years how much passion is worth. You go for the win, as it painted on drag strips on the Full Throttle tour, "Fail to Fail."

And she was just angry after failing.

Trust me, look at the time I had to starve after a bad football loss. That'll teach you a lesson.
