The UK government has been blasted for wasting GBP300,000 of taxpayers money on a study to prove that ducks prefer water.
They're choosing whether or not they should do a study on the religious preferences of the Pope or whether bees like flowers next.:wall::wall::wall:

It took THREE YEARS to study what ducks like about water?
What they ought to be studying is how to wipe out the dirty nasty birds. They're worse than pigeons.
I had a situation when I was a kid fishing with a little Popeil "Pocket Fisherman" and I was using bread as fish bait on the hook over at Roadrunner Park. Well, stupid duck sees human throwing bread into the water and what's the duck do? Bites the bread! There was a hook attached and the lousy duck went crazy. Hissing and quacking and fighting like crazy, the duck took off with my little fishing pole.
I decided I really hate ducks that day, and it didn't take me any 3 years or even 3 minutes with the bird to figure out they suck.

But why do the ducks float? Are they made of wood?

I think you should see if you can get a $600,000 study to find out.

I want a government grant because I'm a Tarantula Hawk expert.
I was at a radio site on top of the White Tanks mountains West of Phoenix when a huge wasp flew by and I was the only one capable of identifying the bug. It was a Tarantula Hawk.

It's one of the nastiest wasps. Get stung by one and on a pain scale of 1-10, you'll know 10. They make scorpions look like amateurs.
Give me $600,000 and I'll study what I already know. Give me three years and I'll even catch you a Tarantula Hawk.
If this kind of money is being spent on general knowledge then imagine the money being wasted on people who don't even know what they're doing?

The Scale that they would need to make would create so many jobs.

I think they should have sent some of that (my tax money) to me. This morning I went out to get my mail and had a letter from "the socialist United States". The letter was from the SS/Disability administation. They said that since I was slow paying for my VA meds. they were going to take the entire balance out of my SS/Disability check today.
They did that, at the rate of $200.00. It really made my day, since that's about 18% of my check. I really love how we Americans are going to be from now on, having our money snatched from us, because Obama wants to spend it.
Of course, with a $Trillion being wasted on "vote buying" by the liberals, they sure do need my little $200.00. When I get my check I have to really watch what I spend every month, because I only have enough for , bills, three tanks of gas, groceries and not a dime to use on anything else. Go out to eat? No way! A movie, nope! Fix my car? I can't do that! I had my tires rotated (free) yesterday and prayed that God would make my brakes OK, since I couldn't possibly get brakes put on.
I hope people who voted the liberals in can find a way to give their asses the boot in 10, before they ruin America. Since the $785 Billion was wasted and sent to ridiculous schemes such as studying the ducks, we really are headed for trouble. Remember Obama saying "we have to pass this stimulus bill for ($785 Billion) tonite, there's no time to read it, it's an emergency"?
That letter gave me that "change I can believe in alright".

So logically, if she weighs as much as a duck, she's made of wood.
And therefore.....

Give me 600,000 and a week and I'll catch you one of those things myself.

You could make more than that a week just by telling Obama you're a division of General Motors.
