Had we REALLY made it to the moon, we would have realized how inept the commies were in the space race, and socialism would never have been considered by American politicians.
Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barrack 0bama prove without a shadow of a doubt that the Lunar Missions were faked.

That only works if Communism and socialism are the exact same thing. They're not.

Like it or not, we've had socialism for over 5 decades now. We happen to be better at it than Communists.

Incidentally, I fluently speak, read, and write Korean
Since I can't type hangul on this computer, and you probably can't display it, I'm using a translitteration.
Chosun MinChuChoi Inmin KongHwakuk (Ie-bok for short) does not exactly translate as Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea in the sense that you and I think of "Democratic" - more in the sense that the people jointly own the whole of the republic, ie, communism. Words do mean a damn thing. You just need to understand who is using them and their language.
BTW, The North Koreans think that Barak Obama is a simpleton and that he can be manipulated. They have used those words. Since our media outlets dont bother to check the translations, they use the English the North Korean propaganda media provides so that the American public thinks they seem him as approachable and someone they can work with. Its a load of bull ****. They are also racists.

The Soviet Union lasted from 1922 to 1991... that's 69 years.
Over 50 years since we began implementing huge socialist policies, and guess what: our economy is starting to hit the fan, similar to teh USSR late in its fifth decade. The powers that be are trying to fix our problems by implementing what - More socialism!
We are in for a ROUGH ride...

I agree with you. Only reason I'm in this thread in the first place is because you're drawing an inappropriate parallel to the idiotic fake moon landing thread and indirectly calling everyone involved in the space program inept by associating them with politicians that have never had anything to do with it.
The Keynesian idea that the government can inject money to boost us out of a depression only works on a short term timescale. We've been doing it since WW2. We've gone from excessive saving to excessive debt. There was a balancing point in the middle that we missed. At some point we're going to have stop printing money, increase interest rates, and start paying down national debt to retain our credit rating.
There are ways this could be done, but the only people advocating them seem to get almost universally panned as being loons.:wall:

The OP is right.
That only works if Communism and socialism are the exact same thing. They're not.
Both of which happen to be collectivist thoughts created by and approved by Karl Marx.
Like it or not, we've had socialism for over 5 decades now. We happen to be better at it than Communists.
Wow, effing wow... a Socialist (according to your posts) actually admits the U.S. has not been a Capitalist state for more than half a century now...

Which means nothing in the context with which they were used or are used today. Particularly the use of them interchangeably makes them both meaningless.

I'm not a socialist, but the US has undeniably enacted more and more socialist policies over the last 5 decades to the detriment of most. And you're also using capitalist incorrectly.
This is like posting to someone that does not understand that an apple is not an orange.
