Sean,
You are going to VA to talk to a Republican group this weekend.
Tell them that you've had it. The party is over. They have noting to offer in terms of a viable opposition to the raping of this country that is occurring as we speak.
Tell them that you, Rush, Newt, Mark (et. al) will be assembling a like minded group of hard-working Americans from all races, creeds, colors and orientations and that you will be putting forward a new approach of how to get back to our constitution.

Would a homosexual, Atheist, Mexican be allowed to join this group?

Atheist, Homosexual Mexicans should all be welcomed. Anyone that wants less government and less taxes in our daily lives.

Well his call screeners ARE his staffers. So if you called in, you could pitch it to them directly rather than hoping they see your thread here.

I am not christian, jewish, muslin, or atheist
I am heterosexual - but have no bias whatsoever against gays
I believe that our nation is the best one on the planet, but I don't believe God favors the United States over any other nation.
I believe the founding fathers were visionary and left us with everything we need to grow as prosper as a nation.
What would hold this new party together is a common belief in how we should govern ourselves. If we could focus on that, and leave the rest of the issues as personal matters - we could have a big tent of people that believe in this country and want it to be great.
BTW - who was it on the list that would have a problem?

Sean would probably laugh at the suggestion but in my view he has al the qualities we're looking for in a Presidential candidate and as the leader of the Republican Party-----Yes,you heard me right---- Presidential candidate. I don't see any weaknesses in the man and a ton of virtues!

I disagree. I for one am tired of the partisan back and forth. We need a President that will truly be a president of all the people. I don't think Sean could fit that bill. I would also like a true intellect in the white house. I don't know if the person I would like to see run exists, but I don't think Sean is that person.

As long as they didn't demand rights that don't exist in the constitution....and don't demand others give up their constitutional rights...

Why should the American people have to settle for "just better than". Don't we deserve the best? Obama should not even be running a convenience store, yet we put him at the helm of our great country. It wasn't just the Democrats that put him in power, it was all of us. We failed to make sure our children were well educated, we looked the other way when our constitutional rights were violated if it suited us. We did not fight hard enough when a large portion of our population was being destroyed by liberal interventionism. We all own this.

I think the Republican Party's best days are ahead of them, that is if the country is not destroyed by Obama and his comrades in congress. I have no doubt at all that this party learned some big lessons in the last 8 years so don't believe the left wing hype that this party is dead. Does anyone actually believe that the socialists who are in power now will actually hold on to that power? For them to hold on to that power Socialism will have to WORK and we all know that's not going to happen. The american electorate is very hard to keep satisfied, even in good times they get tired of the party in power and I don't see any good times on the horizon with what we have now.
Patience---things have to run their course, the 2010 congressional elections are not that far away, let these socialists hang themselves.

I also forgot strong on national defense, and CLOSED borders with Mexico, no amnesty for current illegals, no sancuary cities, etc.
When it comes to thinks like gay marriage, if the states vote it in, so be it. I don't agree with it but if thats how the state votes it, so be it.

The community organizer was willing to run for office though. Those radio entertainers have no intention of running for anything. I think you need to try to focus on people who are willing to roll up their sleaves and paricipate in the hard work it would take to actually resolve our problems.

I agree that the time has come for a conservative party. This idea of a big tent is good on paper but does not take into account the number of party member that are in the party simply to destroy it on behalf of the democrats. Difference of ideas is a welcome thing, but when you are in just to get elected something is wrong. We can not have a party with set principles which canidates sign on to, and then loose those principle when danger approaches.
If Sean, Rush and Levin have been correct for all these years that Conservatism will win hands down time and time again because it is based on Principles that most americans subscribe to then this is the chace to prove it. Let the moderates have the GOP, and see if a carbon copy of the democratic party will get them anywhere. If the conservative party is on its last leg as dems will have you think, well lets draw a line in the sand and say if you are with us we are here, in the conservative party.

Sean has been critical of the Republicans, and the GOP on a regular basis.
The thing is the Republican Party is the only viable vehicle to carry out conservative goals. As ineffective as conservatives are within the Republican Party, they would be even more ineffective without it.
Newt? The GW Newt sitting on the coach with Pelosi, Newt?

With all respect to Sean, Rush, and Levin, the view that "conservatism will win hands down" is wrong. If conservatives can not get their nominee of choice on the Republican ticket how are they going to fair as a stand alone party on the national stage?
The numbers simply are not there.
Also consider if they leave the GOP they lose the organizational structure, and everything else an established party provides.

You can't paint such a broad brush. For example, the Virginia GOP has just nominated very solid conservative candidates for governor (McDonnell), lieutenant governor (Bolling), and attorney general (Cuccinelli), and has also elected a very conservative new state party chairman (Mullins). So Republicans and moderate-to-conservative independents in Virginia have a very clear choice this November (VA holds elections for gov, lt. gov, and AG this November).
