View Full Version : The Presidential "photos" over NYC? What if that plane had crashed into a building?

Those pictures that were taken recently over NYC and NJ--What would have happened if that plane had crashed ON people in NYC or into a building?

I mean, how does a jet, with an escort, just slip through the cracks and ends up over ground zero? And if it had crashed due to some malfunction, then what?

Or--What if some citizen, afraid it was a terrorist hijacking, shot his shotgun up at it? Would that citizen be charged?

What other large pieces of equipment (Presidential planes, fighter jets, etc) are travelling around without Obama realizing it?

Does this happen to every President? ("Hey Joe? Have you seen my Presidential plane lately? I can't seem to find it. By the way, now that I think of it...you wouldn't happen to know where those six nuclear missiles happen to be, do you?")

People knew about the plane being there. Just not...the people in the streets. If the plane crashed or something, it'd be a tragedy. But it didn't happen and the chances of it happening were slim, so why ask that question?

Obama is not keeping tabs on the plane 24/7. It's not really his plane, after all. Note that this doesn't make the whole photo op thing a really stupid blunder. It was.

People would have died, buildings would have been damaged, and heads in the administration and the military would have (figuratively) rolled.

It had filed a flight plan with the FFA.

And if it had crashed due to some malfunction, then what?

See my first response.

No one aboard the plane would even have any clue that a person on the ground had fired a shotgun at it.

Anyone witnessed on the ground firing a weapon at aircraft, even in a futile attempt to do so with a shotgun which could never hit a plane at the altitude AF 1 was at, would still be subject to such applicable laws against such actions if caught.

All of them.

Some nukes were inappropriately transported by plane, if I remember right, not too terribly long ago under President Bush's watch.

But I don't remember in my lifetime another major faux pas of the recent AF 1 type over Manhattan with any other administration.
