Got home from working out to watch it and yet family refused; they were watching So You Think You Can Dance, and refused to change the channel to the ESPN Broadcast Network to watch it. When I wanted to watch the final round, they refused, and turned it to a sleazy anti-male movie.

I was so mad I wanted to take my life by jumping off the Ponte Vecchio into the Arno River! (Puccini Pun Alert!)

What's worth watching it if you know who won, the winning word, and everything else? An "R" rated abbreviated version airs on ESPN2 tomorrow at noon and is set for multiple broadcasts, but as I learned years ago from an old magazine article, the live show has more twists and turns and this is nothing but cut and paste -- it's like ordering a meal at your favourite restaurant, only to be given two ounces of steak at a restaurant when you ordered eight ounces.

It loses what the magazine calls the "emotional appeal".

I am miffed at the family and told them I'd lock all the Scripps channels (HGTV, Food, et al) the same way I'd threaten to smash all the Coca-Cola after missing the 600.
